well i went digging around on marlins site and i think i am gunna go with the 4.7 gears in the t-case i already have in the truck so that way i dont have to modify the driveshafts yet. then i can save up and buy the adapter thats billet and clocks the t-case up for more clearance
then i would have 2.23 in one t-case and 4.7 in the other.....ultimate gearing choices
still wouldnt mind any good write ups....

Going that route when you do duals you will want the 1st case to be stock and the 2nd case to be the reduction case.Your input shafts will live longer.Oh and post lots of pictures when you do this

Nothing puts a smlie on my face like the green glow of 4x4 on the dash !

I am about to install duals into my truck. I did the cost and it is not much more for me to buy a pre assembled unit. I have the v6 chain drive case and have limited access to CHEAP toyota gear driven cases. I will make a threa when I install them into my truck with the addiditonal adapter for my trans.
Basically you are using the reduction housing off a donor case and putting an adapter in between it and another gear driven case. It is a fairly simple insatll. If you look on Trail-gear and marlin's websites you will find installation articles that are very helpful.
